Whatever makes U rock.
I preferred normal wiring 2 B-wire when I tried the 2.
Monitoring is a personal preference, and may seriously vary from 1 engineer 2 another. Ive seen ppl using the strangest systems as monitors, which did not make sense 2 me.
They got good results though, since it made sense 2 THEM.
If it makes sense 2 U- use it.
Its all about KNOWING the speaker, and predicting the sound on most other systems.
I may mix using Bi-amped or B-wired big monitors (comes with the room), but most of my decisions r made on the small monitors NS-10s, Auratones and the Studer 2TK small speaker (rulez!), or similar.
My personal mid-fields r bi-amped, btw. (Active speakers, using original amps and wiring inside the speaker).
Peace,
Zooot.
