NOISE PROBLEM SOLVED : ) ! cIRCLE 17.10.2001 / 05:03 Show thread
joy,
i'm very excited and happy,,,,,,, this info is targeted to all those that like to help on the forum and to those that experienced the same problem i did with noise related to mouse movement and computer activity being amplified in the pulsar outs,,
i was at kragen auto parts in the states and noticed a cheap radio section that had crap amps and accessories for the car... i remembered some of the advice i recieved when i posted about my problem with noise had to do with ground loops, i went to great trouble to eliminate the possibility (i thought) but the problem was still there when i saw a "scosche ES-034 car stereo GROUND LOOP ISOLATOR" it cost 15 dollars and has made my card the way i should expect, noise wise ,,,,, it is great! i justed plugged the analog outs into this box and then attached my rca cables to my mixer into the other end of the box and wow.... just to be absolutly sure, i unplugged one of the rca's and ran it straight to the mixer again and the noise was there as loud as before , so , bla bla bla , that was the answer for me and im very pleased , my only wonder is if im losing anything in the mix now, it doesnt sound like it at all, does anyone know what circuitry exists in one of these boxes, what it does excatly and wheter or not i am losing any other components in my mix because of it ? ...... : )
