Abstract:
Sometimes a mastering job needs an expert in a particular music style, which has very specific parameters to control (dynamics, color, warmth, S/N ratio, etc.) that are usually different from other genres. That is the case of classical music, regional music styles such as Tango, or powerful bassy tunes meant to be played in clubs or cars. In this workshop those unique features will be reviewed, along with two formats that stand out these days: mastering for vinyl and mastering for iTunes.
